Newly promoted Uganda Premier League side UPDF FC is taking the transfer window by storm after landing three more players.
Players including striker Dickens Okwir, defender Isa Mubiru, and Charles Sebutinde are the latest to join the Armyside, both signing a two-year deals.
Okwir joins as a free agent after being released by Uganda Premier League holders Vipers SC while Mubiru joins from relegated side Tooro United.
Ssebutinde joins the Bombo based club after being given the greenlight by his former paymasters BUL FC in Jinja. He also had a brief stint at Nyamityobora.
They join Sam Kintu, Ibrahim Wamannah, James Begesa, and Ronnie Kisekka who earlier signed from Proline Football Club.
UPDF has retained a crop of players in captain Denis Ssekitoleko, defender Andrew Waiswa, Najib Tusaba, Christopher Kawuga, Robert Nakyenalire, left winger Ezekiel Katende, Ronald Owinyi and goalkeeper Douglas Kisembo.
While Junior Akena, Moses Kamya Mukwaya, Tugume, Enock Omakira., Titus Lubega, Jose Maria Lubega, Davis Kamista, Godwin Kawaga, Abdul-Karim Kasule, Emmanuel Egau, Abasi Kiberu, Roger Milla Ahumuza, Fred Kalanzi and Sydney Ssenyonga were all let go by the club.
