Faisal Sekyanzi Makes Express U-turn

Six time Uganda Premier League winners Express Football Club has reunited with attacking midfielder Faisal Sekyanzi.

Sekyanzi rejoins Express as a free agent after his contract with Tooro United expired at the end of last season and has signed a three-year contract.

The 23-year-old midfielder graduated from Express FC junior team and featured in the 2015/2016 FUFA Junior League, winning the MVP award at the season climax.

“Joining Express FC is a huge milestone but what’s more important is playing for the badge, i hope to build on what I achieved last season,” Ssekyanzi noted upon completing his return to Express.

Last Season, he was involved in six of Tooro United’s 18 goals in the top flight, scoring once and assisting five times before the Fortportal based club was relegated to the FUFA Big League.

He the team’s 12th signing of ahead joining, Cryspus Kusiima, Denis Otim, Richard Bbosa, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, and Isaac Nsengiyunva.

Other signings include Yaya Mahad Kakooza, John “Tooky” Byamukama, Godfrey Lwesibawa, and forwards Kiragga Mustafa, Charles Musiige.
