The coaches’ Take

Shadrach Nsobya – Buvuma

“We didn’t play bad, we started well and created many scoring opportunities but failed to utilize them. We tried to make amendments and the opponents claimed bragging rights but we are hopeful to up our performance in the next game despite having less chances of advancing to the next round.”

Hussein Mbalangu – Kyaggwe

“I’m happy that we got all the three points we wanted, the boys were fresh and we managed to get the result we wanted. We played a different style from that of our first game against Busujju and used their areas of weakness as our strength.”

Shadrach Nsobya’s coached side lost its opening game 7-0 to Bulange group leaders Busiro while Kyaggwe stattered against Buwekula loosing 2-1 on Monday.

The Masaza Cup will take a one-day break and resume on Friday when Kyaggwe plays Busujju as Buvuma and Buwekula lock horns in the afternoon fixture at Njeru.
