FUFA Women Super League newly promoted side Tooro Queens Football Club has officially unveiled two signings in forwards Evelyne Katusiime and Sharon Kanyiginya “Muzungu”.
Katusiime, 17, joins the Fortportal based side from Regional League entity OMO Ladies FC where she scored 27 goals In 10 Kitara Women Regional League games played last 2019/2020 season.
While youngster Sharon Kanyiginya, 14, signs from King of Kings College where she scored 23 goals in 10 Kitara Women Regional League appearances last campaign.
Tooro Queens tactician Rogers Ayesiga is optimistic about scoring more goals in the forthcoming season as the two recruits are currently among the two best players in the region.
The duo as well signaled readiness to put up good performances in the top flight league and set their major target as winning trophies and get summoned on the National Team, the Crested Cranes.
Both Katusiime and Kanyiginya will don shirts 22 and 8 respectively for the country Queens who gained top flight promotion after edging Asubo Gafford Ladies 4-2 via penalty shootouts following a barren draw in the normal time during Women Elite League promotional playoffs at Njeru last year.
