Lynda Ddane has been a co-host on the ‘Breakfast in the city’, a morning show at the Bugolobi based Radio City, since March 2019, alongside Joel Ndugwa and Rhoda Ngonzi.
Lynda, however, through her Twitter account today, announced she has bid farewell to the radio station.
“Thank you for giving me a professional home. During our time working together, you became more of a family than a group of co-workers. While I may not be able to call you my workmates, I leave with friends, memories and lessons learned from each of you,” Lynda posted.
Hours later, KFM put out a statement indicating that the TV and radio personality will be joining their team as a host on the ‘D’Hook show starting March 1, 2021.
“Lynda Ddane will be your host for the mid morning show D’Hook on KFM starting March 1st,” reads part of the statement issued by KFM.
Lynda further stated that her time at Radio City has been worth the effort.
“All the early mornings were worth it and rose a light in me each day. You are indeed remarkable people whom I have greatly enjoyed working with,” she wrote.
The 26 year old did not state the reason as to why she left the station but with the new gig at KFM, Chimp Corps can reliably say greener pastures are in sight for Lynda.
