Following the achievement, Ansasira expects to serve as the mouthpiece for the Cricket associates not only in Uganda but Africa in general.
“It’s a very big thing for me as an individual but of course the Uganda Cricket Association and Africa at large. These are the strategic thinkers of cricket in the world and our job is to ensure that we fight for the Cricket associates and ensure that they are equally treated,” Ansasira said.
He added, “I will be discussing about development, how COVID-19 has impacted on cricket and what are some of the strategies that are being put in place to ensure that the game doesn’t lag back so it’s in line with the post pandemic and sports.”
In addition to sitting on the CEC for this period, Ansasira will also sit on the International Cricket Council Development Committee.
