Kenya Premier League entity Bandari Football Club has unveiled Ugandan forward Umar Kasumba as their latest signing.
Kasumba joins Bandari as a free agent signing a one-year contract deal. He makes a KPL return following his short spell with Zambia Premier League side Zesco United.
He had his first stint in the KPL between 2018-2019 season where he put in a sublime performance, scoring 19 goals to his name at Sofapaka.
He previously played for 16-time Uganda Premier League champions Sports Club Villa and 2015 league winners Police before seeking greener pastures in Kenya where he instantly became a household name.
At Bandari, he will fight for a starting slot with Congolese Yema Mwana and John Mwita and his move comes prior to the team’s tie with Wazito FC on Saturday evening.
Bandari is currently positioned 5th with 26 points on the 18-team log after 15 matches.
