• Malawi Vs Uganda Cranes – 4pm (Monday)
Uganda Cranes contingent has on Sunday morning left the country ahead of the final and decisive 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualification game against the Flames of Malawi slated for tomorrow evening.
The contingent left aboard Uganda Airlines Chartered flight to Blantyre with FUFA Executive Committee Member Ronnie Kalema as the Leader of the Delegation.
Also, FUFA President and CAF Executive Committee member Eng. Moses Hashim Magogo, 1st Vice President Justus Mugisha and FUFA Executive Committee Member Ariga Rasoul travelled with the team.
Head coach Abdallah Mubiru named a 23 man travelled squad that will conduct a light training session upon their arrival in the evening at Kamuzu Stadium prior to the game proper at 4pm (EAT) in the same venue.
Uganda Cranes (8 points) will aim at avoiding any form of defeat against Malawi (7 points) to qualify for the final tournament scheduled to take place in Cameroon.
Burkina Faso (9 points) became the first team to progress from group B after a barren draw with Uganda on Saturday at the St Mary’s Stadium in Kitende. They will host South Sudan (3 points) in their last game on the same day.
