With just hours to the second round of the Uganda Premier League, Express Football Club has boosted its squad, capturing experienced winger Martin Kizza.
Kizza signs for the Red Eagles from South Africa’s Royal Eagles FC on a one year contract.
“I am happy to join this great historical club where winning silverware is priority, I already feel at home because the players have been so welcoming and I can’t wait to fight for the badge and help the club win silverware this season,” noted the new signing.
The former Sports Club Villa and Free State Stars player winger becomes the 20th signing made by head coach Wasswa Bossa in this season and will wear shirt number 18.
“I have known martin for a while now, he is a hardworking and focused player, he joins us at a crucial time although he has to prove to get into the team, for me he brings speed in attack and creativity as well so he’s a good addition”. Bbosa said via the club website.
Express will play host to Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club (URA FC) on Saturday evening at the Mutesa II stadium in Wankulukuku on match-day 16.
