Jackson Mayanja Takes Over Kyetume Dugout

The Management of Kyetume Football Club on Sunday Confirmed the elevation of Jackson Mayanja “Mia Mia” to the head coach role, replacing Alex Isabirye Musongola.

Isabirye has been relieved of his duties barely one month after his appointment. Since his arrival at the club earlier in March, Kyetume has lost five league games and drawn once hence dropping to the relegation zone.

During his short spell in charge, Kyetume lost 2-1 to Busoga United, drew goal-less with Express, fell 1-0 to KCCA, lost 2-0 to URA, 1-0 to Sports Club Villa and the recent 0-3 home defeat to Police on Saturday.

Uganda Cranes legend Jackson Mayanja has henceforth been elevated to the head coach role and will double as the team manager with immediate effect.

ChimpReports understands that Isabirye will now work under Mayanja as his immediate assistant as the club aims at maintaining it’s top tier status.

Mayanja served as the club head coach during the FUFA Big League times before his appointment as the technical director and lately team manager.

On Tuesday next week, the Slaughters will play host to Express football club at the FUFA technical center – Njeru in the Stanbic Uganda Cup round of 32.
