Kabaka, Nabagereka receive #Covid-19 jab

Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi and Sylvia Nagginda have been vaccinated against #Covid-19.

The ailing and frail Kabala joins a list of Ugandans officials who include President Yoweri Museveni, Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga, who have been vaccinated against #Covid-19 pandemic.

Currently there have been 137,866,311 confirmed cases of #Covid-19, including 2,965,707 deaths, reported to the World Health Organisation (WHO). A total of 734,121,870 vaccine doses have been administered. In tandem, there 41237 confirmed cases of #Covid-19 and 338 deaths registered in Uganda and over 100,000 doses administered.

During the celebrations to mark his 66th Birthday on Tuesday Kabaka urged eligible Ugandans to go for vaccination. Kabaka’s subjects were outraged about his health so that he could breathe.

The Royal family however revealed that the Kabaka has been sick for some time and said that he is currently in a stable condition.

“Kabaka has been unwell for a while. However, he has responded well to the prescribed medication and his medical team is positive about his prognosis. The Royal Family would like to express their gratitude to the public for their good wishes as well as for their concern towards Kabaka,” Royal family said.

Yesterday he was seen at capital shoppers along Ntinda-Nakawa road where he had gone to do shopping.
