Police in Kabale district have recovered a gun that was stolen from a local security guard in neighboring Kisoro district, who was murdered and dumped in a stream

The gun, police says was recovered by a local farmer in a tree plantation in Kibikura cell, lower Bugongi ward, Northern division in Kabale district.

Elly Maate the Kigezi Regional Police spokesperson says Police were able to confirm that it was the same gun which was stolen from the SWATT Security guard in Kisoro on the 6th June.

The guard was murdered at his work station (Chuho water pumping station) and the body dumped in a stream.
