Midfielder Julius Mutyaba has signed a three-year contract extension with Uganda Revenue Authority (URA FC) having had four solid seasons at the club.
The combative midfielder’s contract expired at the end of June before the club management decided to extend his stay.
“I am so delighted that URA has entrusted me to continue serving at such a distinguished club. It was the best thing for me and the club to agree that I stay,” Mutyaba told the club website.
“The club has very big plans that I am part of, I renewed my contract to see that we finalize those plans. It’s unfortunate we narrowly missed out on the league title last season, but we are going to start from exactly where we stopped,” the former Lweza FC (now defunct) player added.
The Tax collectors who finished 2nd (57 points) last season won’t leave any stone unturned as they gear-up for 2020/2021 CAF Confederations Cup.
